These Terms and Conditions apply to all sales, services, engineering work, restorations, reproduction parts, vehicles, and other products supplied by Eaton Heritage Ltd, including its specialist divisions Mr J40 and Tri-ang Pedal Cars.
By placing an order via our website, social media, email, telephone, or by direct arrangement, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Scope of Products and Services
Eaton Heritage Ltd provides:
- Bespoke and low-volume parts engineering
- Reproduction components for classic and heritage vehicles
- Restoration services
- Sale of complete vehicles (where applicable)
- Specialist pedal car reproduction parts and restorations
All work is undertaken on an individual project basis unless otherwise stated.
3. Product Descriptions
3.1 Reproduction and Manufactured Parts
a) Parts may be handmade, low-volume manufactured, or reverse engineered. Minor variations in appearance, finish, or fit may occur and shall not be considered defects.
b) Due to the age, wear, and original production tolerances of classic vehicles and pedal cars, dimensional variation between vehicles is common. Minor adjustment during installation may be required and is considered normal.
c) Parts are supplied on the basis of reasonable compatibility with the intended application but may require professional installation or adjustment.
3.2 Bespoke and Made-to-Order Components
a) Custom-made or made-to-order parts are produced based on the information provided by the client.
b) Clients are responsible for the accuracy of measurements, drawings, and reference materials supplied.
c) Bespoke components are non-refundable unless proven to be defective in manufacture.
3.3 Complete Vehicles (Where Applicable)
Vehicles may be described as:
- Fully restored
- Partially restored
- Project vehicles
- Sold as seen
Descriptions are provided in good faith based on available information. Buyers are encouraged to conduct inspections, request additional photographs, or arrange viewings prior to purchase.
All vehicle sales are final unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. Pricing and Payment
- All prices are listed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.
- Payment must be received in full before goods are dispatched or released.
- Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, credit/debit card, and PayPal (where available).
- Custom projects and restorations may require a non-refundable deposit.
- Deposits secure workshop time and materials and are not refundable once work has commenced.
5. Orders and Availability
All orders are subject to availability and technical feasibility.
If a product becomes unavailable after order:
- A refund will be offered; or
- A revised lead time will be provided; or
- A suitable alternative may be proposed (subject to agreement).
6. Shipping and Delivery
6.1 Parts
- Parts are shipped domestically and internationally.
- Shipping charges are displayed at checkout or quoted separately.
- Delivery times vary by destination.
- Import duties, taxes, and customs charges are the responsibility of the buyer.
6.2 Vehicles and Large Items
- Vehicles and large items may be crated or shipped via freight.
- Shipping costs are quoted separately.
- All vehicles are shipped insured.
- Once goods leave our premises, responsibility transfers to the shipping provider.
- Any claims for loss or transit damage must be made directly with the carrier.
7. Returns and Refunds
7.1 Standard Parts
- Faults must be reported within 14 days of receipt.
- Items must be returned for inspection before replacement or refund.
- Refunds are issued only if replacement is not possible.
- Fitted, modified, or damaged items are not eligible for refund unless defective in manufacture.
7.2 Bespoke and Made-to-Order Items
Custom-made components are non-refundable unless a clear manufacturing defect is established.
7.3 Vehicles
Due to the specialist and high-value nature of restored or project vehicles, all vehicle sales are final.
8. Lead Times
Lead times vary depending on complexity and workshop schedule.
Typical made-to-order components may carry a lead time of 1–4 weeks. Larger engineering or restoration projects may require longer.
Estimated lead times are not guaranteed and may be subject to material availability or unforeseen workshop constraints.
9. Certificates and Documentation
Certificates or heritage documentation issued by Eaton Heritage Ltd or its divisions are based on information available at the time of assessment.
Certificates are issued as guidance only and do not constitute legal provenance, authentication guarantee, or valuation.
10. Intellectual Property
All product descriptions, designs, images, logos, and written content remain the intellectual property of Eaton Heritage Ltd.
No material may be reproduced or used without prior written consent.
11. Privacy Policy
Personal data is handled in accordance with UK GDPR and relevant data protection legislation. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further details.
12. Liability Disclaimer
- Eaton Heritage Ltd is not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from misuse, incorrect installation, or improper application of supplied components.
- Installation of components should be undertaken by competent persons.
- Heritage vehicles and pedal cars are not manufactured to modern safety standards and must be used responsibly.
- Our liability is limited to the value of the goods supplied.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Eaton Heritage Ltd shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of supplied goods or services.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
